A newly built 39mm vintage automatic dive watch with an individually aged matte-black dial, warm patinated markers and a clean no-logo design. A black timing bezel, brushed stainless-steel case and classic three-link bracelet give the watch the appearance of a well-used diving instrument while retaining modern mechanical construction.

The matte-black dial features large geometric hour markers, a prominent triangle at 12 o’clock and a framed date window at 3. The markers and hands have a mottled warm-gold finish that resembles naturally aged luminous material. Once charged by light, the luminous sections produce a green glow for improved visibility in darker conditions.

The dial, hands, case and bracelet are aged individually. The exact tone and distribution of the patina, surface marks and weathered finish will therefore vary slightly between watches. These variations are intentional and make every finished build subtly different. The watch is newly assembled and is not antique, pre-owned or refurbished.

Its solid 316L stainless-steel case measures 39mm excluding the crown, 13mm thick and 48mm from lug to lug. These proportions provide the wrist presence of a traditional dive watch while remaining compact enough for everyday wear. The standard 20mm lug width also allows the supplied steel bracelet to be replaced with a compatible leather, rubber, canvas or NATO-style strap.

A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial and provides the raised profile associated with vintage dive watches while offering greater scratch resistance than conventional mineral glass. The black 60-minute bezel rotates counterclockwise through 120 positive clicks, allowing elapsed time to be tracked without the risk of accidentally increasing the indicated time. A screw-down crown helps secure the case after winding, setting the time or adjusting the date.

The watch is powered by a Time Module Inc. TMI NH35 automatic mechanical movement. It winds through wrist movement and can also be wound manually through the crown. The movement runs at 21,600 vibrations per hour, uses 24 jewels and includes hacking seconds for more precise time setting. Approximate power reserve is 41 hours when fully wound.

The dial displays hours, minutes, seconds and the date. Pulling the crown into the time-setting position stops the seconds hand, while the intermediate crown position allows the date to be adjusted independently.

For more information about the movement and how each watch is completed, read our NH35 Movement Guide and Watch Assembly Process.

Each finished watch is checked on a timing machine in three positions before dispatch. The workshop acceptance targets are a measured rate within ±15 seconds per day, amplitude above 220 degrees and beat error below 0.6 milliseconds.

These measurements are acceptance checks rather than a guarantee of the exact daily rate on the wrist. Mechanical watch accuracy can vary according to position, temperature, available power reserve, magnetism and individual wearing habits.

Every completed watch is individually water-resistance tested after final assembly to 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 metres of static pressure.

This rating should not be interpreted as a recommendation to dive to a depth of 200 metres. Our watches are not represented as ISO 6425-certified professional diving instruments and are not recommended for deep or professional diving.

Always keep the screw-down crown fully secured around water and never operate it while the watch is wet or submerged. Water resistance is not permanent, so periodic pressure testing is recommended, particularly after servicing or a strong impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. This is a newly assembled automatic watch with an intentionally aged vintage-style finish. It is designed to capture the appearance and character of an older dive watch without being represented as an antique or naturally aged timepiece.

  • The case shape, dial layout, colours and overall design will remain consistent. However, each dial, handset, case and bracelet is aged individually, so the precise patina and surface markings will vary slightly.

Lighting, camera settings and screen calibration can also affect how the matte-black dial, bezel and warm gold-tone details appear.

  • No. The NH35 is an automatic mechanical movement. It winds through normal wrist movement and can also be wound manually using the crown.

  • The 39mm diameter and 48mm lug-to-lug measurement create a balanced, traditional dive-watch fit. It offers more presence than a compact 36mm field watch without wearing as large as many contemporary dive watches.

  • Yes. The NH35 movement powers a framed date display positioned at 3 o’clock. The date can be adjusted independently using the intermediate crown position.

Avoid using the quick-set date function while the movement is naturally changing the date around midnight.

  • The timing bezel rotates counterclockwise only and uses a 120-click mechanism. This traditional safety design prevents an accidental movement from increasing the amount of remaining time shown by the bezel.

  • The markers and hands have a warm, aged appearance in daylight. After being exposed to a suitable light source, the luminous material glows green. Brightness and duration depend on how strongly and how recently the lume has been charged.

  • No watch should be described as completely waterproof. This model is individually tested after final assembly to 20 ATM and carries a 20 ATM / 200 m water-resistance rating when the case is properly sealed and the screw-down crown is fully secured.

  • Every finished watch is tested in three positions. Movements already within our acceptance criteria are not adjusted unnecessarily. Movements outside the required range are adjusted or replaced.

Actual daily accuracy can vary with position, temperature, available power reserve, magnetism and wearing habits.

  • When fully wound, the NH35 provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve. Actual running time may vary slightly depending on the winding level, movement condition and use.
